Free State Nomads had the privilege of being the title sponsor of the Free State Ladies Open, held at Parys Golf & Country Estate over the weekend of 9 May.

I was warmly welcomed by the new President of Free State Ladies Golf, Anje Rademan, who requested assistance with the prizegiving proceedings. We were also able to assist in setting up the prize sheet “the Nomads way”, which contributed to a smooth and enjoyable conclusion to the tournament.

It is always a privilege for Nomads to support ladies’ golf, which forms an important part of our Furtherance of Golf initiatives.

Congratulations to the overall winner, Isabella Ferreira from Southern Cape. Isabella was the joint winner of this tournament last year, and she is certainly a player to keep an eye on in the future. A sincere thank you to all our members and supporters who contribute towards our Furtherance of Golf initiatives throughout the year. Your support makes opportunities like these possible and continues to strengthen the game at all levels.
